AST Limited Instructor Passes Away

January 31: Mr. George Patrick is a name well-known to the founders and affiliates of ARM Aviation Services. A former RAF engineer, he taught many of us while we studied at Air Service Training Ltd in Perthshire, Scotland.

On January 16th, Scottish police have confirmed that the body found recently in the woods at St. Michaels crossroads was that of Mr. Patrick, who had been missing since January 8th.

Excerpt from Fife Today:

POLICE have confirmed that a body found on Sunday is that of missing Cupar man George Patrick.

The discovery was made in dense woodland on the B945 St Michaels to Tayport Road, at a point known locally as St Michaels crossroads, close to where Mr Patrick was last seen.

The 70-year-old went missing on January 8, having last been seen getting off the F2 bus from Cupar near the St Michaels Inn in the village

We will remember Mr. Patrick fondly. May he rest in peace.
